Its highest peaks, over 1,600 metres, cover 11% of the land, including the Julian Alps, Karavanke, and Kamnik–Savinja Alps, all offering excellent multi-pitch climbing. In addition, Slovenia boasts over 92 sport climbing areas with around 5,000 well-equipped routes.

But skill alone isn’t enough – the right equipment is key to a safe and unforgettable experience. Rent climbing gear and get information about the climbing routes at our office in Bled, then enter your climbing adventure in Slovenia.
– Climbing helmet: While climbing, it is crucial to protect your head from potential falling rocks.
– Climbing harness: You will need it to tie in the climbing rope securely.
– Climbing shoes: They will not only protect your feet but will also make your climb easier.
– Climbing rope: The rope acts as a safety chain, connecting you securely and protecting you in case of a fall.
– Quickdraws: Also called extenders, you use quickdraws to connect the rope by leading the climb.
– Carabiners: Strong, durable rings with gates that you use to connect climbing ropes to other pieces of protection.
– Grigri: A belay device that you use to control the rope and ensure the safety of the climber.

You can rent climbing gear in our Altitude Activities office on Ljubljanska cesta 1, 4260 Bled. Please ensure that the gear is picked up and returned during the office hours that are currently in effect. (Every day from 10 am to 6 pm)
We understand that many hikers prefer to start their day early, so we offer the option to pick up your gear from our office one afternoon before your booking (until 6 p.m.) at no extra cost.
If you don’t manage to return it during office hours, please let us know by phone or e-mail.
*Note that in the summer season, it is good to pre-book the rock climbing set since these are the months with the highest demand.
