Slovenia Day Tours
Best Day Trips in Slovenia Starting From Major Tourist Cities
If you’re planning your trip and want to explore as much as possible in a short time, Slovenia Day Tours are one of the best ways to discover the country. Slovenia is one of the easiest countries in Europe to explore in a single day. Distances are short, logistics are simple, and you can experience lakes, caves, mountains, and the coast all within an hour or two of each other.
Short Distances, Big Variety
Most major sights—Bled, Bohinj, Ljubljana, Postojna, Soča Valley—are less than 30–90 minutes apart. You can see a huge amount without long drives.
Often Cheaper Than Travelling Alone
When you add up car rental, fuel, parking, entrance fees, and tolls, a guided day tour often costs the same or less than driving yourself. And you avoid all the planning and navigation stress.
Door-to-Door Pick-Up Included
With a small upgrade, we pick you up directly at your accommodation, saving you both time and money on rental cars and parking.
Surprisingly Affordable Private Tours
Private tours in Slovenia are far more budget-friendly than in many European countries, giving couples and families a personalised experience without the high price tag.
Perfect for First-Time Visitors
If it’s your first time in Slovenia, day tours let you see the highlights with zero stress. A local guide handles everything, from timing to hidden spots.
Small Groups for a Better Experience
Most tours run with max 8 guests, making the day relaxed, flexible, and more enjoyable than large bus tours.

Altitude Activities is a proud recipient of a TripAdvisor 2024 Certificate of Excellence. Thank you all for the great reviews!

The best thing ever. I took my old boss to experience Slovenia in one day. And boy I am happy I chose Altitude Activities to do so. Our tour guide Jerry was awesome, funny and you could just see he knows what he is doing. We went to the canyon of Jermanka and even though there is a drop almost 45m high we felt extremely safe. Overall highly suggest going canyoning with Altitude Activities
