For enthusiasts of sport climbing, Slovenia offers prime conditions from late spring through early autumn, specifically from April to October. During these months, the weather is most conducive for climbing—warm and stable, which ensures dry rocks for optimal grip. This period avoids the unpredictable and often wet conditions of late autumn and winter, ensuring a safer and more enjoyable experience.
The weather near Bled, Slovenia, is characterized by a temperate alpine climate with moderate rainfall throughout the year. Spring and autumn tend to be mild, while summer temperatures range from 20–30°C (68–86°F), making it ideal for outdoor activities like climbing and hiking. However, rain showers are common in summer>, especially in the afternoons, so it’s best to check the forecast before heading out.

The best thing ever. I took my old boss to experience Slovenia in one day. And boy I am happy I chose Altitude Activities to do so. Our tour guide Jerry was awesome, funny and you could just see he knows what he is doing. We went to the canyon of Jermanka and even though there is a drop almost 45m high we felt extremely safe. Overall highly suggest going canyoning with Altitude Activities
