Starting an active day in the natural climbing area
With your guide, you will go on a 10-minute drive from Bled to Bohinjska Bela and park in the centre of the village. Then you will go on a short hike towards the Iglica natural climbing area. Here, the guide will prepare the safety equipment and fasten ropes in the routes. You will put on a harness and helmet. The guide will do a safety check to make sure everything is correctly set. You can choose a preferred climbing direction with a particular difficulty level, from 3a for beginners to 8c for experienced climbers. It depends on your experience and skills. On a rock climbing 3 routes tour you will climb and abseil three times from the ground to the top of the 30 meters high protected wall. If you will find that you can manage more than 3 routes, we can extend the activity and you can climb 6 routes or more.
Fearless climbing on a dry rock wall
The guide will rope you up and protect you from the ground while you will climb on an equipped rock wall. The guide will teach you a safeguarding technique so that you can also protect climbers in your group. You will also learn basic techniques to climb in the lead, rappel on a rope, rope manoeuvres and how to tie a knot at the top of the wall. When climbing and searching for proper cracks and shelves, you will be able to observe the impressive 25-meter-high Iglica Waterfall, which flows into a small artificial lake.
