Paragliding Bled is the best way to experience the natural beauties of the Bled area and other parts of the Gorenjska region from the birds’ perspective. You will fly near and above the famous lake and admire its unique island on one side and the magnificent Bled castle (which looks like it is »keeping an eye« on the lake) on the other side. During the flight, you will have an amazing view over the highest Slovene mountains; the peaks of the Julian Alps, Karavanke Mountains, and the Kamnik–Savinja Alps. On a bright sunny day, you can see the panoramic views extending across the Austrian border.

Timing: Lake Bled Paragliding flights typically begin after 9 AM and continue until 4 PM, depending on Mother Nature and the season.

Our guide will pick you up in Bled from where you will take a ride with a van to the take-off point, which is 15 minutes away. You will take off from a beautiful spot on the Pokljuka plateau. This is a 1300-meter high plateau in the Triglav National Park, covered with forests and mountain pastures.
On a take-off field, the instructor will equip you with all the necessary equipment and explain the basic rules and take-off procedures. When everything is set up and ready, you and the pilot will descend from the plateau with a parachute and start paragliding.
Soon you will no longer feel the ground under your feet, but at the same time, you will enjoy the freedom and fresh breeze when paragliding above Bled with beautiful views of the landscape below. The guide will drive you back to Bled after you land on a landing field.

The Paragliding Bled tour requires no prior experience, and neither does it require a license, as a certified instructor will do all the work. However, certain weight restrictions must be applied for maximum safety measurements, so the tour is suitable for anyone with over 25-30 kilograms (130cm+) and less than 120 kilograms.
Lake Bled paragliding route is unique as you will have the opportunity to see the most impressive spots of the alpine landscape from a different perspective. When you quietly float through the blue sky on a sunny day, the panoramic views will open to the magnificent scenery of the Triglav National Park, along with the highest peaks of the Julian Alps, such as Mt. Triglav, Razor and Mt. Škrlatica.
To the north, you will have views of the Karavanke Mountains with the highest peak of Mount Stol. The beautiful panorama in the northeast opens to the Kamnik Savinja Alps, Žirovnica, part of Radovljica and Lesce airport. On a very sunny day, the vista opens across the Austrian border.

Even though we follow accurate weather forecasts daily, sometimes we cannot completely predict the weather, as it can change very quickly, especially in the Alps and Alpine valleys. Since paragliding Lake Bled depends on the weather conditions, we can cancel the tour at the last minute due to the possible strong winds or heavy rain.
Even if it seems calm at ground level, this doesn’t always reflect conditions at higher altitudes. Winds can be stronger and less favorable for paragliding up high, even when the weather appears clear and calm below.
