However, you must make sure you are appropriately equipped for this kind of challenge.

Moreover, we only provide high-quality, properly maintained climbing equipment. Therefore, there is no need to pack everything for your travel adventure since you can easily rent complete climbing equipment at our office in Bled.
A climbing harness is an indispensable piece of equipment for either a Via Ferrata or rock climbing. You can come and try the equipment in our office in Bled. We will also be happy to discuss your plans and advise you on the Via Ferrata or rock climbing routes.
– A climbing harness securely attaches you to the rope, distributing your weight evenly in case of a fall.
– The harness offers padded leg loops and a waist belt, ensuring comfort during climbs, belaying, and resting on the wall.
– Belay loop and tie-in points are crucial for securely attaching the rope. Gear loops allow climbers to carry carabiners, quickdraws, and other essential climbing equipment.
– Using a climbing harness is fundamental for both safety and efficiency. Never climb without one unless you’re bouldering, which doesn’t require a harness.
– The harness should fit snugly around your waist and legs without being too tight or restrictive.
– Check for any visible signs of wear, such as frayed webbing or damaged buckles.
– Ensure that the climbing harness meets safety standards.
– Choose a harness suited to your activity: A lightweight harness is suitable for sport climbing or a Via Ferrata. The more padded harness offers extra comfort for multi-pitch or alpine climbing.

You can rent climbing gear in our Altitude Activities office on Ljubljanska cesta 1, 4260 Bled. Please ensure that the gear is picked up and returned during the office hours that are currently in effect. (Every day from 10 am to 6 pm)
We understand that many hikers prefer to start their day early, so we offer the option to pick up your gear from our office one afternoon before your booking (until 6 p.m.) at no extra cost.
If you don’t manage to return it during office hours please let us know by phone or e-mail.
*Note that in the summer season, it is good to pre-book the climbing harness since these are the months with the highest demand.
