What to expect of rock climbing 6 routes adventure?
From Bled, you will take a 10-minute ride to Bohinjska Bela in the direction of Lake Bohinj. The guide will park in the middle of the village from where you will walk through the town towards the Iglica natural climbing area. The guide will arrange all the rock climbing gear and fasten ropes in a particular direction on a rock climbing wall. In the meantime, you will put on rock climbing shoes, a rock climbing harness and a helmet. You can choose between six or more climbing routes. Each climbing route offers a different difficulty level, so you can start with the easiest route and continue in a more demanding direction. You will climb and rappel on a rope six times on up to 25 metres high rock climbing wall.
Memorable rock climbing in unspoiled alpine nature
The guide will tie you on a rope and safeguard you from the ground. You can also learn safeguarding techniques to be able to guard climbers in your group. The guide will also explain some rope manoeuvres, how to tie a knot at the top and how to use cracks and shelves in the wall. You will also learn how to safely rappel on a rope and how to climb in the lead. When climbing, you can enjoy the unspoiled alpine nature with an impressive view of the nearby 25-metre-high Iglica Waterfall, which drops into a small artificial lake.
Rock climbing gear for rent
If you are an experienced climber and would like to explore natural climbing areas on your own, you can rent all the gear you need for safe climbing in our office. You can rent individual equipment such as a carabiner, belay GriGri, quickdraw, harness, climbing rope, helmet and shoes in your size. You can also rent a top-notch set that includes all the gear mentioned above. In our Bled office, you can rent a rock climbing guidebook in different languages. In the guidebook, you will find detailed descriptions of more than 90 protected rock climbing routes in Slovenia.

What is good to know before going on Rock climbing?

We provide you with all the technical equipment, which is included in the tour price. However, if you would like to climb by yourself without a guide, you can rent the gear you need for safe rock climbing in our Bled office. You can rent an entire rock climbing set or individual technical equipment such as a Gri Gri belay device, carabiner, harness, quickdraw, ropes, helmet and climbing shoes in your size. You can also rent a guidebook, in which you will find detailed descriptions of more than 90 protected natural climbing areas in Slovenia.
