If you would like to reach the summit in one day without spending the night in a mountain cabin, you can make an appointment with a guide in the late morning.

Upon meeting, the guide will give you all the equipment you need for a safe climb to Triglav. You will get a harness, helmet and a via ferrata set. The guide will explain how to use the equipment properly and will put you on a short rope. The guide will give you further directions about the route that lies ahead.
An exciting ascent to the highest mountain in Slovenia
You will start the hike with an ascent to the patch of the Triglav glacier. Then you will start climbing the Via Ferrata trail, which leads steeply uphill to Mali Triglav. It will take about 30 minutes for this ascent. In this part, you will climb in a roped party, which is part of the professional IFMGA guidance. From Mali Triglav, the trail descends, followed by an exposed but well-protected trail on the narrow ridge. Then the route scales and leads you to the Aljaž Tower at the top of Mt. Triglav. From here, you can admire the spectacular views in every direction.
Finally, the guide will safely lead you back to the mountain hut, where you started the guided tour. For the whole tour from hut to peak and back, you will need approximately 3-5 hours.
