An exciting ascent to the highest mountain in Slovenia
You will start the hike passing the right side of the cottage and down to a smaller ridge between Triglav and Kredarica. From here you will ascend to the patch of the Triglav glacier. Then you will start climbing the via Ferrata trail, which leads steeply uphill to Mali Triglav. It will take about 30 minutes for this ascent. In this part, you will climb in a roped party, which is part of the professional IFMGA guidance. From Mali Triglav, the trail descends, followed by an exposed but well-protected trail on the ridge. Then the route scales and leads you to the Aljaž Tower at the top of Mt. Triglav. From here, you can admire the spectacular views in every direction.
