Our zipline slots are typically organized between 8 am to 6 pm. However, please note that the exact timing might vary depending on the weather conditions and the season.
Since this activity is weather-dependent, you only need to book a spot on the trip. To book this activity, you only pay a deposit of 10€ per person. The rest is paid on the spot to the guides.
Meeting point for the zipline Dolinka tour is in the town’s center of Bled. We kindly ask you to arrive 15 minutes before the scheduled departure. Here you will meet our experienced guides. You can also change into comfortable sportswear and put on hiking boots. With proper footwear, the whole experience will be more pleasant and safe.
We will provide all the necessary equipment, including safety harnesses, helmets, pulleys, and gloves. After forming the groups, we will drive to the starting point above the Sava River Valley, which is only a 10-minute drive away.
When reaching the first aerial platform, the guide will teach you about the rules you need to follow, explain the basics, and hook you up on the steel wire using a harness and making sure you are safe and ready to fly. At first, you will make a testing descent on a 20-meter long steel wire. Then you will drop on seven different steel wires, that will gradually take you to the bottom of a valley.
The zipline Dolinka adventure lasts about 2.5 hours, including the time when you will hike with guides through the meadows and forests between several aerial platforms. A vehicle will be waiting at the bottom of a valley, that will drive you back to town.
Zipline Dolinka in Bled is unique among other parks as it offers an unforgettable adventure for everyone who would like to actively experience the unspoiled nature in the alpine landscape. The park is located in the Sava River Valley, that is part of the nature reserve and protected under the Natura 2000 European network.
The total length of the zipline is 4 kilometers, but it is devided into seven steel wires of length between 350 to 700 meters that will take you from one aerial platform edge to another.
This way you will make six drops over the valley, passing treetops in pristine nature.
Zipline Dolinka adventure combines a guided excursion through the pristine alpine valley of the Sava River on the edge of the Triglav National Park and exciting descents on seven steel wires between Lake Bled and Vrba village. Six extraordinary drops over the Sava River Valley offer breathtaking views of the highest peaks of the Julian Alps, such as Mt. Triglav, Babji zob, Ajdna, and Stol. Beautiful views from high above the ground also open up to the river itself, that enchants with its light blue and turquoise color.
Six aerial platforms are interconnected with an educational forest hiking trail that is leading through the breathtaking nature in the central part of Brje. Ziplining adventure meets every expectation, as it offers a memorable opportunity for exploring the alpine nature, to learn about its features and to enjoy in the unique sports activity of flying in the air like a free bird.
The zipline Dolinka in Bled is labeled between 1 and 2 (according to the difficulty scale ranging from 1 to 6), so it is considered to be quite easy and therefore suitable for families with children, couples, groups, but also for adrenaline enthusiasts.
Since gravity has a big influence on the speed while descending, there is a weight maximum at 125 kilograms. Therefore we can make sure that you are not going too fast, but, on the other hand, have just enough momentum to keep moving.
Moreover, there is also an age limit. The youngest tour participants must be at least 6 years old. Children between the ages of 6 and 13 will descend in tandem with the guides. Children over the age of 13 can drop on steel wires on their own, but also can go in tandem with a guide. In any case, children under 16 must be accompanied by their parents.
No previous experience is needed for the zipline Dolinka in Bled adventure, as the guides will make sure you are safe and comfortable at all times. The tour requires some psychophysical strengths, since you will hike on paths through the meadows and forests, and in some sections, you will also walk uphill.
The tour takes place in all seasons. In case of bad weather, clothing and footwear must be adjusted. Especially during the winter months, you will be most comfortable in warm clothing, waterproof footwear, beanie, and gloves.
Zipline Dolinka in Bled offers a unique experience in wintertime when the alpine valley and the surrounding mountains are covered in snow. Hence, the views between the drops up in the air and walking in the snowy landscape are even more magical.
