3 reasons to go on Ski touring with us:
- Enjoying ski touring in the Julian Alps
- Making the first ski trails in deep powdered snow
- Worry-free skiing in the wild mountains of Slovenia
What to expect?
You will start the ski touring tour with a transfer from the Bled area to the starting point of the mountain. The location of the tour will be set a few days before the tour, according to weather conditions.*
Before ascending the mountain, our instructor will briefly show you how to use avalanche safety equipment. If this is your first-time ski touring, he will also teach you basic techniques of backcountry skiing and point out some safety rules in the mountains.
And then, the fun in the snow begins. On the way up, the mountain guide will give you hints on how to master kick turns, which are helpful when it gets steeper than 30°.
Enjoying the spectacular views at the snowy peak, you will then start skiing down the sparkly white mountain slopes. On the way down, you will be amazed at how majestic the winter in the Julian Alps is.
The ski touring adventure will end before it gets dark. You will be transferred back to the Bled area with some unforgettable memories.
*We reserve the right to execute the tour in different locations, such as Karavanks or Kamnik-Savinja Alps, in case of bad weather and snow conditions in the Julian Alps
