What to expect on the Fun kayaking Sava river adventure?
Throughout the Sava River kayaking tour, you will be accompanied by a guide in a kayak, giving you instructions and taking care of your safety. A guide will also teach you how to paddle on calm waters and more adventurous rapids and how to paddle when trying to get out of the counterflow. A guide will also show you an eskimo turn and other rowing techniques. If you wish, you can freshen up in the river and jump into river pools. After an hour on the water, you will reach the exit point where you will pull your kayak ashore. You will pick up your belongings from a van and change into dry clothes. A driver will take you back to Bled or your accommodation in Bled.
An unforgettable free-floating tubing adventure on the river
On a doughnut-shaped rubber tube for one person, you will glide down the calm river section with smaller rapids. The water movement will carry you 5 kilometres down the riverbed. If you would like to direct a journey, you can paddle with your hands and feet. Throughout the journey, you will be accompanied by an experienced guide on a kayak, who will give you instructions and take care of your safety. You will get wet during free-floating tubing, but you can also take a dive in the river pool, or stop and take a break at the riverside if necessary. After an hour on the river, you will reach an exit point and pull the tubes to the riverside. You will change into dry clothes and drive back to Bled with your guide.
When can you join the Fun kayaking Sava river tour?
The Sava River kayaking tour is available twice a day every day from April to October. We need a minimum of 2 participants to carry out the trip. You can choose from a morning available term starting at 11:00 from Bled and an afternoon tour starting at 14:00 from Bled. In the spring and autumn months, the activity is more abundant with adrenaline, as the river has higher water levels and therefore more rapids.
The tour offers an excellent opportunity for everyone who would like to try kayaking on the alpine river rapids and learn basic rowing techniques and turns. The tour is suitable for experienced sports enthusiasts as well as for beginners. There are some restrictions due to kayak size and capacity. Limitations include a maximum height of 190 cm and a maximum weight of 120 kilograms. With a guide, you can arrange that he will be taking photos of you during a tour. We can send the images on your email address or Wetransfer site or we can upload the files to a USB key when you return to our office. An additional charge for photographing and pictures is 10 €.

Is this kayaking route easy and suitable for kids?
Free-floating tubing includes a single descent down the river in a doughnut-shaped rubber tube.
Are there any restrictions?
The tour is suitable for participants who are more than 10 years old and for participants with less than 120 kilograms. The minimum height limit is 150 centimetres and the maximum height limit is 190 centimetres. The activity is not suitable for pregnant women.
Do you get wet on kayaking?
You won’t get wet in a kayak, but you can freshen up in the river if you wish.
What to wear for kayaking?
Put on a swimming suit and bring with you a towel and dry clothes to change into after the tour.
Do you need experience for this route?
For the Sava River kayaking adventure, you don’t need prior experience, only basic swimming skills.
