Starting the hike to the Kredarica hut
You will approach the Kredarica mountain through the lush forests of Krma valley. Soon after, you will start to hike uphill, passing the meadows of Vrtača. In the middle of our hike to Kredarica, we will pass a shepherd’s cottage called Prgarica where we will make a short break. Then we will continue hiking through a steep slope called Kalvarija before reaching the highest hut in the Julian alps, Triglavski dom na Kredarici.
Altogether, you will need around six hours of hiking to Kredarica hut (depending on weather conditions and the pace of the group). At the hut, our guide will help you with accommodation and preparation for the next day when you will climb to the top of Triglav mountain.

The next morning you will be greeted by a majestic sunrise if the weather is favourable. In case of good weather conditions, you will start preparing around 6 am. The guide will give you all the details about climbing up and down a fixed rope route, he will also help you with gearing up your equipment. You can expect around 2 hours of Via Ferrata before you reach the peak.
