Consequently, to these protected iron routes being placed all over the Alpine region, many of the previously unaccessible tops are now within reach. Via ferrata is a great idea for outdoor activity in Slovenia, a combination of hiking and climbing.

While hiking the Slovenian mountains, you will most likely come across via ferrata at some point. For example, the most famous ferrata in Slovenia is the one going on the highest mountain Triglav. Therefore to conquer it and many others, you will need to have the proper ferrata set equipment to cross it safely.
The via ferrata set includes all the necessary gear for a carefree and safe trip into the mountains. In the package, you will find a helmet, climbing harness, and via ferrata lanyard.
You can rent and return the equipment in our Altitude office on Ljubljanska cesta 1, 4260 Bled. Firstly we will discuss your plans for the trip and come up with some suggestions which ferrata would be best for you.
Secondly, you will try the via Ferrata set and we will have a tutorial on how to use it. At last, we will fill in the rental data and you can get on your adventure.

You can rent and return the equipment in our Altitude office on Ljubljanska cesta 1, 4260 Bled. Please ensure that the gear is picked up and returned during the office hours that are currently in effect. (Every day from 10 am to 6 pm)
We understand that many hikers prefer to start their day early, so we offer the option to pick up your gear from our office one afternoon before your booking (until 6 p.m.) at no extra cost.
If you won’t manage to return it during office hours please let us know by e-mail.
*Note that in the summer season, it is good to make a pre-booking for the via ferrata set since these are the months with the highest demand.
