E-Bike Tours Slovenia
A collection of our guided e-bike tours in Slovenia, carefully designed to showcase some of the country’s most beautiful regions.
Choose this tour if you want the most authentic and relaxed e-bike experience near Bled. You ride through the peaceful Radovna Valley in Triglav National Park, passing alpine meadows, forests, traditional farmhouses, the 500-year-old linden tree at Gogalova domačija, the Pocar Farm ethnographic museum, Psnak’s old beehive and water-powered sawmill, Pokljuka Gorge, and the valley’s distinctive humpback meadows. What makes this tour great is the combination of easy riding, cultural depth, and a traditional farm brunch, which turns a simple bike ride into a proper Slovenian countryside experience.
This is the best choice for guests who want the biggest alpine highlight reel in a single day. The route connects Radovna Valley, Peričnik Waterfall, Vrata Valley with views of Mount Triglav’s north face, Mojstrana, Kranjska Gora, and Lake Jasna. This tour gives you waterfalls, emerald springs, dramatic mountain walls, and one of Slovenia’s most iconic alpine lakes on one guided ride, without the effort of a regular bike tour.
Book this tour for a quieter and more atmospheric alpine ride deep in Triglav National Park. Highlights include the Pokljuka wetlands at Barje Šijec, the famous Zajamniki pasture with its line of wooden shepherd huts, Uskovnica meadow with views toward Mount Triglav, Rudno Polje, and the forest-and-meadow scenery that makes Pokljuka feel far removed from busy tourist areas. The strongest reason to choose it is the setting: this is the tour for people who want the fairytale side of Slovenia, with high mountain pastures, spruce forests, and some of the most photogenic landscapes near Bled.
The tour takes guests into Logar Valley and along the Solčava Panoramic Road, with highlights including Rinka Waterfall, a natural mineral water spring, traditional alpine farms, and an included homemade lunch at a family-run mountain farm. The real selling point is that guests get one of Slovenia’s most scenic roads, one of its most impressive waterfalls, and a genuine farm meal in a valley framed by dramatic peaks. It feels exclusive, peaceful, and very different from the standard Lake Bled day trip.

Do I need previous cycling experience to join an e-bike tour in Slovenia?
No previous cycling experience is needed for many of our e-bike tours, but it depends on the route. Some tours are suitable for beginners, while others require a better fitness level because they include longer distances or more uphill riding. As a general rule, beginners should choose tours marked as easy.
Are e-bike tours in Slovenia suitable for beginners?
Yes, some of them are. If you are a beginner, look for tours marked as easy. These are designed to be manageable even if you do not cycle often. More demanding routes are better suited to guests with stronger fitness and more confidence on the bike.
How far do you usually ride on an e-bike tour?
It depends on the tour. Some rides are quite short and relaxed, while others are full-day experiences. For example, our Triglav National Park e-bike tour can cover close to 100 kilometres in a day, so it is a much bigger time and energy commitment than a shorter scenic ride.
What should I wear for an e-bike tour in Slovenia?
Wear comfortable clothes that you can move in easily. Avoid very baggy trousers, as they can get caught in the pedals. If the weather is cooler, bring a windproof jacket, and outside the summer season we strongly recommend gloves, especially for long downhill sections where your fingers can get cold. You do not need special cycling clothing—comfortable everyday outdoor clothes are usually enough.
What is the best time of year for an e-bike tour in Slovenia?
May and June are usually the best months for e-bike touring in Slovenia. Temperatures are more comfortable, the landscapes are green, and riding conditions are often ideal. In peak summer, it can get quite hot, especially on longer routes with more sun exposure.
Are the routes mostly on bike paths or roads?
Most of our routes follow paved roads and good-quality gravel roads. We do not offer tours that require riding on demanding rough gravel. Some short sections may use main roads where this cannot be avoided, but we keep those parts as short as possible.
Can children join an e-bike tour?
Yes, children can join. We have e-bikes suitable for children, and for the youngest guests we can also provide a child seat. On full-day tours, however, it is important to be realistic about how long your child can ride, especially if they are not used to cycling. The same applies to some teenagers, who may find longer days more demanding than expected.
What happens if the weather changes during the tour?
If the forecast suggests unstable weather, you should bring a jacket with you. We can continue riding in light rain, but if the rain becomes too heavy or lasts too long, we will stop the tour and call our pick-up van. If possible, we will also wait in a sheltered place until the rain passes.

The best thing ever. I took my old boss to experience Slovenia in one day. And boy I am happy I chose Altitude Activities to do so. Our tour guide Jerry was awesome, funny and you could just see he knows what he is doing. We went to the canyon of Jermanka and even though there is a drop almost 45m high we felt extremely safe. Overall highly suggest going canyoning with Altitude Activities
